Lemon Zest Asparagus

1/3 lb. Aspara­gus
1 Tablespoon of Fresh Lemon Juice
Sea Salt
Ground Pepper

Directions:
Rinse aspara­gus and break off any tough, white bot­toms.  Cut into 1 – 2 inch sec­tions, slic­ing the aspara­gus at a slight diag­o­nal.  Fill medium sized pan half way with water and bring to a boil.  Add the aspara­gus and reduce heat slightly to a sim­mer.  Par­boil the aspara­gus for exactly 2 minutes.  Drain hot water.  While aspara­gus is still hot, toss them in bowl with lemon juice and salt and pep­per to taste. Serve warm or room temperature.
serv­ings: 1 vegetable.

 

Orange Slushy

¾  Crushed Ice
1 Orange
5 drops Valencia Orange Flavored Stevia

Directions:  Mix in blender until smooth.  Pour directly into glass and serve. 

 

Orange Strawberry Smoothie

¾ Cup Crushed Ice
½  Orange
½ Cup Fresh Strawberries
5 Drops of Vanilla Crème Stevia
5 Drops of Valencia Orange Stevia

Directions:  Mix in blender until smooth.  Pour into glass and serve or freeze to make shaved ice.

 

Orange Julius

¾ Cup of Crushed Ice
1 Orange
5 Drops Valencia Orange Stevia
5 Drops Vanilla Crème Stevia

Directions:  Mix in blender until smooth.  Pour into glass and serve or freeze to make shaved ice.
